Mr. Valla is active in local and international business affairs and serves in fiduciary capacities, as well as a Director of many client companies, including VIDA (an international medical resource foundation), and The Star Fund, LLC (a hedge fund), and as Vice-Chairman, San Francisco Chapter, of C.I.I.M. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Valla SpA (www.valla.com), a family-owned company based in Italy and engaged in the manufacturing of market-leading, innovative mobile cranes. Mr. Valla has been a member of AIGLI (www.aigli.com), an International Association of Italian Speaking Lawyers, for over a decade. A native of Milan, Italy, Mr. Valla has lived in the San Francisco Bay Area since 1983. Married, with two children, he loves fast automobiles, motorcycles, reading, traveling and spending time with his wife and family. Mr. Valla received a Bachelor of Arts (Magna cum Laude), in Economics, from the University of San Francisco in 1986, and a Juris Doctor (with Honors), also from the University of San Francisco in 1988 |

Mr. Valla founded Valla & Associates, Inc., P.C., in 2009, and its predecessor, Gilliss Valla & Dalsin, LLP, in 1994. He focuses on the transactional and business litigation aspects of the Firm's practice, with particular passion for its international clientele. Over the last decade, he led many of the practice’s most complex and rewarding engagements in the U.S. and abroad.
