Antonio Valla, after his university education in San Francisco and having gained significant experience at a law firm with a strong European focus, identified a niche for servicing European clients in the Asia-centric West Coast.

Motivated by the gap in practical, affordable legal advice for these clients, he founded his own firm in the mid-1990s, which eventually became Valla Associates in February 2009. The firm, now known as Valla Morrison & Schachne following the partnership with Daniela Morrison and the recent inclusion of Lisa Schachne in January 2023, is built on providing high-level service, practical advice, and maintaining reasonable costs.
Antonio's leadership has steered the firm towards significant growth, emphasizing the importance of visibility for his partners and fostering a culture of inclusion and talent promotion, particularly for women in law.
